Many feel neglected by our elected leaders who seem to gather in votes by idle promises only to forget the wishes of the people and spend their time brockering deals among their peers to enhance their careers.
Although I'm two years your senior, I spent time as a naval gunner during WWII in the Mediterranean aboard a Liberty Ship delivering the materials of war to the fighting men.
I share your feelings that the Nation deserves better than what the Democrats have in store for us.
